In this workshop, your class will take a trip inside the human body to learn all about the circulatory system. Firstly, we’ll introduce your class to the main components of the circulatory system: the heart, lungs and blood vessels.
Your pupils will then take a look at how these components work together in order to keep blood flowing around the body. By delving into a virtual world, we’ll be able to show your class a network of veins and arteries and how they work alongside the heart and lungs.
We’ll then take your class to have a closer look at the heart. Here, your pupils will be able to see the main layers of the heart and they’ll be introduced to the four main chambers inside.
Teaching about the human body can be difficult. This workshop helps to bring the topic to life and places pupils in the heart of the action.
